When placing items, it is important that the content is correct so that visitors know what to expect, namely what has been placed as information with the item.
After submitting an item, it is checked and put live after approval. If an item is not offered in accordance with the guidelines, you will receive a rejection email. If you don't understand why it is rejected, you can view the guidelines below. Then adjust the item and resubmit it for review.
What requirements must an item meet? #
General #
- Sharp and clear photo’s. The visitor must be able to clearly see what the item contains. If you have uploaded a blurry and unclear photo’s, replace this photo’s with a higher quality photo’s.
- Honest and truth-based texts. From the information provided with an item, the visitor should get a good idea of the content of the item.
Accommodations #
- Unique footage. If, as a provider, you want to add multiple accommodations that are similar, it must still be possible to determine the differences from images. There are no identical items. For example, do you have three accommodations on the same site with the same size? Then you will have to use different photo’s per item to demonstrate this. The guest must recognize the photo ’s that you use with your item at the start of the reservation date.
- The reservation and contact between guest and provider must be made via the platform. The text may therefore not contain an invitation to communicate outside the platform.
- Prices must be proportionate. When adding an accommodation it is possible to add seasonal prices. When this is created, it will be checked whether the basic price prevails over the created seasonal prices. If this is not the case, the item will be rejected.
Rental vehicles #
- Unique footage. If, as a provider, you want to add multiple rental vehicles that look alike, it must still be possible to determine the differences from images. As a rental vehicle provider, do you have three of the same car’s or from the same size and luxury class? Then choose to describe this in the item.
- The reservation and contact between guest and provider must be made via the platform. The text may therefore not contain an invitation to communicate outside the platform.
Tours & Activities #
- Do you have tours or activities that do not differ much from each other, but do differ in duration, for example? But make this clear in the description of the item and, for example, add the differences in images.
