How can I add an accommodation? #
To add an item you must log in to your account or a create an account. Then click on the 'Add' button at the top right of the menu bar.
Select 'Accommodations' here:

After this, complete all the steps indicated. Finally, you check all your details and you can publish the item.
How does it work? #
Once you have added an accommodation and it has been approved, it will be live on the platform. Visitors to the platform can now reserve your accommodation. You decide which dates are available to be booked and of course the associated rates.

After a guest has placed a reservation on the platform, you will immediately receive an email with the request to approve the reservation within 24 hours. Once approved, the guest will receive confirmation and can make the required deposit within 24 hours. For accommodations, the down payment is the entire amount of the accommodation (100% of the reservation) so that you as a provider do not run any risk if a guest unexpectedly does not show up.
Is the arrival date longer than six weeks from the reservation date? The guest then has the option to pay in two installments. Fun Places ensures correct invoicing to the guest.
Once the (initial) deposit has been received, the reservation is final. The payment of the deposit is made the day after the arrival of the guest(s) to the bank account or PayPal account you indicate.
What are the possibilities? #
iCalendar #
Link our booking calendar to other booking sites for free and easily via iCalender. After a successful reservation, the dates are automatically blocked in all your agenda’s and you do not have to do anything manually. Go to your items and choose the third 'iCalender' icon and sync current and future reservations in the same calendar.

Price per guest or total price #
Indicate whether the nightly price is the 'total price' or a 'starting price'.
For a 'total price', enter the nightly price that applies to your accommodation per night, regardless of the number of guests. On the reservation tab, you specify the maximum number of guests that can stay in your accommodation.
Under the 'starting price for a number of guests', enter the nightly price that applies to your accommodation per night for a fixed number of guests (minimum 2). On the reservation tab you can indicate how many guests are included in the starting price and add a price that applies to each additional guest.
Weekend and seasonal rates #
In addition to the standard price per night, you can set different prices for the weekend and desired periods. Consider, for example, the summer holidays or the Christmas period.
Add deposit #
If you want to have your guests pay a deposit, you can do this directly online. When you pay out, you will receive the amount including the paid deposit. Then this does not have to be arranged upon the arrival of the guest(s). The provider is responsible for correct handling of the guest and therefore also for the refund of the deposit.
Add additional options and/or costs #
You can add additional options and costs at the property that are mandatory or optional to book. This includes mandatory cleaning costs, optional pick-up and delivery service, etc.
What are the costs? #
Placing an accommodation is completely free. However, the costs differ per package:

Free package #
With the free package you place an accommodation completely free of charge. You can add as many as you want. If there is no reservation, there are no costs.
With the free package with a successful reservation, a service fee of 8% will be applied to the deposit.
Paid package #
A paid package is valid for one year and for one accommodation. If you want to add more accommodations, you can purchase this package more often. The advantage of a paid package is that no service fee is charged for a successful reservation.
